The National Emergency Training Center Library is home to one of the largest collections in the U.S. of materials relating to the fire service and emergency management.
The NETC Library maintains a comprehensive index of fire service, EMS, and emergency management literature. Hundreds of scholarly and trade journal articles are added every year. The NETC Library Index and Catalog is available to all.
NETC Library collections and services are primarily for students, instructors, and staff of the National Fire Academy (NFA) and the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). Materials in the library are intended to support research, classroom lectures and course materials.
The library is open to outside researchers by prior appointment only. The library makes much of its collections available to off-campus scholars via interlibrary loan.
