The National Emergency Training Center Library is home to one of the most comprehensive collections of materials relating to the fire service and emergency management.
The library is primarily for students and instructors of the National Fire Academy (NFA) and the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). Materials in the library are intended to support research and course curricula.
The NETC Library Index and Catalog is the discovery portal for the library's unique collection of books, journal articles, reports, dissertations, and media materials.

Library Collection Stats (as of December 2021)
Each month, NETC Library staff index hundreds of journal articles related to the fire service, emergency medical services, and all-hazards response. These journal articles become part of our permanent collection and are discoverable through the NETC Library Index and Catalog.
